6 Ways to Help Your Loved Ones This Grandparents Day

Sunday, September 8th, is Grandparent’s Day.

Here are some tips from the Social Security Administration that may help you help them get a better understanding of their Social Security benefits, find helpful tools, and discover information they were not aware of.

Do they have a personal “my social security account”? Help them create their account to manage their benefits. They can update their personal information and more.

They can check their eligibility for Social Security benefits by answering a few questions.  They may qualify for benefits they aren’t aware of.

You can research other programs your loved ones may qualify for and help them apply.

You can even educate yourself about scams so you can help protect your loved ones.
